Gemma rejoined the Monterey office in 2025. She is a licensed Landscape Architect with a diverse background including art and exhibition design. Growing up amid the Rocky Mountains of Western Canada, she now feels at home exploring the vast and ecologically rich landscapes of California. She advocates for designs that connect people to nature in creative and meaningful ways, rewilding, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Gemma holds a Bachelor or Arts from Concordia University and Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of British Columbia. She has taught the History and Theory of Landscape Architecture as an Adjunct Professor in the University of British Columbia’s School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture.
