Johnson joined the Monterey office in 2019, coming from Nashville, Tennessee, where he began his career in horticulture and landscape design. He is Studio Director for the Monterey office and has designed and managed numerous award-winning projects, with a particular focus on creative placemaking and regenerative design. Johnson became a Partner in 2023 and continues to be a dynamic leader with a passion for artistry and craftsmanship. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee in Ornamental Horticulture and a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from NC State University.
